Santa Visits Sonshine School

Every year, on the last day of school, Santa comes to visits the kids at Sonshine School!  This year Owen was much more excited to see Santa than last year.  He sat down with his class and they excitedly talked about Santa's visit!!!
Addyson didn't want to be left out and wanted the protection of her big brother so she sat down right beside him in the middle of his class!  We heard the story of baby Jesus and sang songs as we waited for Santa..... and then he came!!!
Owen was so excited to see him!!!  He stood up and started waving!!
Addyson started crying right away so I had to go get her and she buried herself in me for protection since brother was too busy saying "Hi" to protect and comfort her!  : )
They let all of the classes go up for a picture and to say Hi to Santa.  Look at Addyson's class, most of them are turning their heads to avoid seeing Santa.  At least she let me go up there with her and stand beside him and she didn't cry.  That's a step in the right direction!!!  I'm using this visit to get the kids ready to see Santa at the Square and have their picture taken with him!!!  We'll see if this works!!!
While Owen's class was waiting their turn, Owen told me how he was going to go stand by Santa but he was going to stand in the back.  I wasn't sure how he would do but I was impressed when he walked up there by himself and he did go right to the back.  : ) Can you see him back there keeping his eye on Santa???

Then his teacher moved him to the front so he could be seen in the picture and he didn't seem to mind.  He actually smiled about it!!!  Yay for a good visit with Santa!!!
Here are all of the wonderful teachers that teach at Sonshine School.  We are very thankful for them and their love and guidance they give our kids twice a week!  Thank you teachers for all you do and putting on this special day to end the school year and celebrate the birth of Jesus and all that Christmas entails!
